A young man watches as water comes down a newly opened ‘auwai (a canal to carry water from stream to the lo‘i kalo). Native Hawaiian dragonflies fly close by. Pellegrino.  The story is about a young Hawaiian man’s dream to restore the ancient lo‘i kalo (wetland taro patch).
